Meet Brittany
I have been working in the wellness industry since 2003 and fell in love with helping women feel cared for, which lead me to get my training as an estheician. My emphasis is on organic skin care, the art of sugaring hair removal as well as whole body waxing.
My knowledge of the body helps me to successfully treat skin conditions like acne. I use a holistic approach to skincare, and believe in using gentle yet effective products that reflect harmony with nature as well as in customizing services to fit each individual’s specific needs and goals.
For the past decade I have been offering my services at my Northern California studio I named after my daughter, Blooming V.
But as a Southern girl, I have come back to my roots and am excited to give the women of Texas the care they deserve.
I absolutely love esthetics and helping people feel and look their best! It is my JOY.
Sugaring & Waxing Pre and Post Care
Both waxing and sugaring are forms of hair removal.
Sugaring paste is made of sugar, lemon juice and water. It is applied to the skin in the opposite direction of the hair growth and removed in the same direction of the natural growth.
Sugaring is especially great for sensitive skin types. It does not adhere to live skin cells as much as wax does so overall it is more gentle to the skin and is able to remove the hair with less breakage.
How to prepare before hair removal:
Exfoliate the skin using a gentle scrub for several days leading up to your appointment but stopping 24 hours prior to. Come in for your appointment with clean skin free of any lotions and oil, this is especially important to sugaring as the paste will not adhere to the hair and be able to be removed if there is any product residue on the skin. Do not using any retinols, fruit acids, tretinoins or skin thinning products for 5 days before or after your hair removal.
Post Care hair removal
After care is extremely important after receiving hair removal. Do not exercise or sweat for 24 hours, no swimming, bath or hot tubs. You can shower after 2 hours but it is highly recommended not to submerge in a body of water. Don't exfoliate for 48 hours.
Keratin Lash Lift
A Lash lift is a semi-permanent, lash treatment that gently lifts up and curls naturally straight or downward pointed lashes. This lash enhancing treatment will give your eyes a more youthful appearance by making your lashes appear longer, thicker and darker with much less maintenance than eyelash extensions.
Results last around 8 weeks.
Tinting is recommended for those with medium to light colored hair.
Before treatment, please come in with clean lashes free of any makeup, serums, oil and products. You will not be able to get your lashes wet for 24 hours after lifting. IF you are using medicated eye drops, please consult your doctor first as you would need to stop using drop for 2 days before and after your treatment.
